GALA, the bridal line of the couture house Galia Lahav, releases their new 2023 collection Shine. The youthful, fun, and fresh line known for sweet, yet sexy looks with a fashion-forward edge gets a glamorous update.

With this collection, designers Galia Lahav and Sharon Sever make the whimsical GALA girl a little more daring. Inspired by today’s empowered brides who are ready to celebrate their wedding in a big way, each dress in the collection is touched by sparkle and shine. The radiant gowns are sprinkled with stardust-like details, such as shimmery tulle, glistening beading, and metallic threading.

While keeping the playfulness of the GALA line, the collection features sophisticated elegance for the bride who is excited for the chance to be dazzling again after two years of the pandemic. Signature silhouettes are more dramatic with endless drape, pops of 3D embroidery, and voluminous tulle skirts and sleeves. To delight the GALA bride, ball gowns and A-line dresses float with ethereal airiness; and mermaid and trumpet silhouettes offer subtle sultriness. While fairytale-like gowns are done up with exaggerated tulle details and sophisticated, fitted dresses get unexpected cutouts in the bodice.

Luxurious fabrics in ivory and blush tones are embellished with glittery touches that brilliantly catch and reflect light, which adds to the dresses’ light-as-air structure that allows the bride to shine as she dances and moves throughout her big day.

Almaz – Almaz is a dreamy silk tulle ballgown, which features a sexy corseted bodice, sweetheart neckline, off-the-shoulder straps, whimsical cascading beaded appliques, and sweeping full tulle skirt.

Bling

Bling – An exquisitely shaped high neck and beautiful beaded netting make Bling feel ultra-luxe—and the cutout fitted silhouette combines a bralette top with a halterneck illusion, which forms into straps in the back, giving a modern and sophisticated flare.

Dazzle

Dazzle – Dazzle, a semi-sheer trumpet gown, features a sheer corset top, sweetheart neckline, ruffled off-the-shoulder straps, and a cathedral-length train in a classic silhouette showcased in delicate silver sequin beaded lace that gathers in the back.

Flash

Flash – Show-stopping and gorgeously glam, Flash features a low plunged cat-eye corset bodice and a voluminous skirt made of a sparkly silver-embossed tulle fastened at the waist with a bejeweled belted bow with gradually thinning sparkly draped straps.
